The UV Color Changing Embroidery Machine Thread is a unique product that rapidly changes color when exposed to UV light and gradually returns to the original color when there is no UV light. To get the best color-changing effect, the thread should be exposed to stronger UV light, and projects with denser stitches or multiple outline stitches will have more visible color changes. Lubricating the thread with a non-staining silicone spray or sewer's aid is recommended.

When using the UV color-changing thread, it is suggested to use large-eye needles like SCHMETZ Topstitch 90/14 or Organ HAX1 SP 90/14 to reduce friction. Bleaching and steam ironing are not recommended, but dry ironing is allowable at a maximum temperature of 176°F. Washing the thread is allowable, but the water temperature should not exceed 104°F.
